Competition Terms & Conditions

These terms govern prize competitions and draws run on CQD New Gen. Please read them before entering.

1. The promoter

These competitions are run by CQD New Gen ("the Promoter"). By entering, you accept these terms in full.

2. Eligibility

Entrants must be 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom, unless a specific competition states otherwise.

Employees of the Promoter and anyone connected with a competition are not eligible to enter it.

3. How to enter

Each competition has a stated entry fee (e.g. £1). You may enter by paying the fee for one or more entries and correctly answering the skill question.

Free entry route: you may enter without payment by sending your name, email and answer to the skill question by post to the Promoter’s registered address. Free entries have the same chance of winning as paid entries. Full postal details are available on request.

4. Skill question

Every entry requires a correct answer to the skill question shown for that competition. Entries with an incorrect answer are not valid and, where paid, will be refunded.

5. Minimum entries & when a prize goes live

Each competition may state a minimum number of entries (a threshold) that must be reached before the draw takes place.

If the threshold is not reached by the closing date, the competition will not be drawn and all paid entrants will be refunded in full.

6. The draw

Where the threshold is met, the winner is selected at random from all valid entries (paid and free) after the competition closes.

The Promoter may run regular draws (for example, weekly). The prize, entry price and details of each competition are shown on its listing and may be updated by the Promoter before a competition opens.

7. Winner notification & prizes

The winner will be notified by email within 7 days of the draw. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim within a reasonable period, the Promoter may draw an alternative winner.

Prizes are as described on the competition listing and are non-transferable. No cash alternative is offered unless stated.

8. Payments & refunds

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Refunds (where due under these terms) are made to the original payment method.

9. Data protection

Entry details are used only to administer the competition and are handled in line with our Privacy Policy.

10. General

The Promoter’s decision is final in all matters. The Promoter may amend these terms or cancel a competition where reasonably necessary, refunding paid entrants for any cancelled competition.

This is a default template. Have it reviewed against the current Gambling Commission guidance on prize competitions and free-entry routes before going live.
