Honest answers

Can refugees and asylum seekers do cleaning work?

If you have the legal right to work in the country you are in, then yes. Cleaning is one of the most accessible first jobs, with little English needed to start and training on the job. Rules on who can work, and when, differ by country and by your status, so please check your own permission to work first.

Do I need the right to work?

Yes, this is essential. You must have legal permission to work where the job is. CQD New Gen helps you find work, it does not change your immigration status and cannot give immigration advice. If you are unsure about your status, speak to a refugee support charity or a qualified adviser.

What if my English is limited?

That is fine to start. Many cleaning roles need little spoken English, and our platform supports many languages. You can also message us on WhatsApp in your own language and we will help you set up.

Does my experience from another country count?

Yes. Cleaning or any work you have done elsewhere still shows you are reliable. You do not need a local CV, and every job you complete here builds a verified record you own.

Is it free, and is it safe?

It is completely free for you, with zero commission. A legitimate job never asks you to pay a fee to be hired or to hand over your passport or documents to a "employer". If that happens, it is a scam or exploitation, do not pay, and report it in one tap.
