Obtain your own background check from the relevant authority in your country (e.g. DBS in the UK, ACIC in Australia, NBI in the Philippines) and upload the certificate. CQD confirms receipt — the check itself is issued by your national authority, not CQD.
Global recognition
CQD does not conduct background checks. This badge confirms you have self-submitted a certificate from your country's official authority. Employers can request to view the original document directly.

How to earn this badge
Complete a course from a CQD-partnered training provider (ISO guidance, COSHH, health & safety, specialist cleaning, and more). Upload your certificate. CQD displays this badge as a signal of your professional commitment.
Global recognition
CQD partners with accredited training providers — we do not issue training qualifications ourselves. The badge signals professional development; the underlying qualification is issued by the training provider. Employers interested in partnering to offer training should contact us.

Level 3 — background check certificates by country
CQD New Gen accepts the official government-issued background check certificate from each of our 19 markets. You obtain your own certificate from your national authority and upload it to your profile — CQD confirms receipt and displays the badge. Your certificate from your home country is valid; you don't need to repeat it when working in a new region.

CQD New Gen partners with accredited training providers to bring relevant courses to cleaning professionals. We don't issue qualifications ourselves — the certificate comes from the training provider. Complete a course, upload your certificate, and your Level 4 Training Recognised badge is displayed on your profile. Training providers and ISO consultants interested in partnering should get in touch.

Frequently asked questions
Is building a Trust Profile mandatory?
No. Level 1 (Email Confirmed) is automatic when you sign up. Levels 2–4 are optional but strongly recommended — workers with more complete profiles stand out clearly to employers and receive more match notifications.
Does CQD conduct the background check?
No. CQD New Gen does not conduct background checks. You obtain your own certificate from the relevant authority in your country (e.g. DBS in the UK, ACIC in Australia, NBI in the Philippines) and upload it to your profile. CQD confirms receipt and displays the badge. The check itself is issued by your national authority.
Is my document data stored securely?
Yes. All uploaded documents are encrypted at rest and in transit. We comply with UK GDPR, EU GDPR, CCPA, and equivalent data protection laws in all 19 markets. Documents are deleted after receipt is confirmed — we only store the badge status, not the document itself.
Does my Trust Profile transfer between countries?
Yes. Your badges travel with your profile. If you move from the UK to Australia, your Level 3 badge remains visible. Individual employers may ask to see the original document, but your Trust Profile badge stays on your profile.
What if my background check shows something?
We review all cases individually. Minor historical matters do not automatically disqualify you. We follow the guidance of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (UK) and equivalent legislation in each market. Contact system@cqdnewgen.ai if you have concerns.
Can employers see my actual documents?
No. Employers only see your badge and status — not the underlying documents. Your ID and background check certificates are never shared with employers through the platform.
