Cleaning Operative

We're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our facilities team in Letterkenny, Ireland. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our workplace environments to the highest level. The ideal candidate will demonstrate efficiency, professionalism, and a strong commitment to health and safety compliance while working both independently and collaboratively with our team. Your contributions will directly impact the comfort and well-being of everyone in our organization. Clean and sanitize all designated areas including offices, communal spaces, restrooms, and corridors to the highest standards Empty waste bins and dispose of refuse appropriately, ensuring proper waste segregation where required Operate and maintain a range of cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively Restock cleaning supplies and report shortages to management promptly Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues or hazards immediately Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including COSHH compliance, and wear personal protective equipment as required Respond promptly to cleaning requests and address spillages or accidents with urgency and professionalism Work flexibly to accommodate varying shift patterns and organizational requirements Contribute to a positive workplace environment through professional conduct, teamwork, and excellent customer service Undertake onboarding training and engage in ongoing professional development opportunities Identify and communicate potential safety hazards to management in a timely manner Follow detailed cleaning protocols and procedures to ensure consistency and quality across all areas
